Monsieur Madame

(Yes, that’s six stars out of five!) We had an absolutely outstanding experience at this restaurant — one of the best we’ve ever visited during our 2 weeks vacation in France. A perfect blend of cozy and elegant with just the right dose of charm. Most importantly, we deeply appreciated that all the ingredients were eco-friendly, fresh, and of top-notch quality. You can taste the care in every bite! Honestly, this place deserves an 11 out of 10 — Michelin stars, move over. Highly recommended for anyone who values not just great food, but a sustainable culinary experience wrapped in good energy. We’ll definitely be coming back. Bravo!

The food here is really good — everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was also excellent; the staff was attentive and very welcoming. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s understandable given the location inside Intramuros. Overall, a great dining experience if you’re looking for quality food and warm service in a historic setting.

We visited Monsieur Madame for lunch. and had a very nice time. We ordered oysters, which was great. The terrine was also very tasty, one of the best we had. We were there with our dog, and it was super dog friendly, which we really appreciated. The staff were great, very friendly and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was nice, and we enjoyed our meal a lot. The drinks was good too. Especially the cold tea was really refreshing and not sweet. The butter they served with bread was very tasty as well.

We were travelling with our baby. They were very friendly, we took the menu for lunch and it was very nice and had good portions. Not only did it look amazing but also delicious, the quality of the food was better than what we expected for lunch. I will definitely come back if I am in St Malo again.

Stopped for a quick drink and ended up booking for dinner. Glad we did. Fabulous new restaurant. Great service, wines by the glass, carafe or bottle and incredible menu. The oysters were delicious. The risotto and beef were cooked to perfection. Had to share a dessert as after 3 courses of this fine food, we had no room left. Sure this will become a destination restaurant within the old walls.

So special! As soon as we tasted the amuse bouche at this place we knew we were in for a treat. Delicious flavor and texture combinations from the chef with stunning presentation too- easily the best meal we’ve had in St Malo. This restaurant is quite new and doing something different to many other places within the walls by serving high end exciting food in a lovely setting with excellent service. Highly recommend the langoustine starter and the beef fillet but everything we tasted was so incredible, we can’t wait to go back (they had a great lunch menu too for a good price which looked very tasty!) A hidden gem in St Malo everyone should try.

I loved the service, but the food was just not for me. Burger was very oily, and the buns were not tasty. Tartare had odd colour and the flavour was unusual to me. Perhaps this place is some kind of innovative cuisine that I am not suitable for
